The GXT1000VP4 is now in stock and shipping!
Just a quick heads-up, we are now taking pre-orders for the new Midland GXT1000VP4 Two Way Radio. It is a lot like the popular Midland GXT900VP4 with a new display, and more "channels". We are also going to sell them for the same price $69.99, we do things like that.
We hope to have them in stock by 7/24/09. We will then ship them out to everyone that has placed a preorder first. So if you have been thinking about getting a good set of GMRS radios, you may want to pre-order these now. First come, first serve and no breaking in line!

can u provide me with a 2 way radio's that would provide atleast a 4 mile urban range area?

I wish there were radios available that I could guarantee that kind of range in an urban environment. Read this post for more on the range of two way radios: http://www.buytwowayradios.com/blog/2006/07/the_truth_about_range.aspx The most you are going to get without using a repeater is about one or two miles. These will be about the best GMRS radios you will find for range: http://www.buytwowayradios.com/products/icom/ic-f21gm.aspx If you are looking for business radios, let me know, we have a few more options. We can also get a repeater for you if you go that direction.
