Love the discussion you had comparing the Midland GXT1000 and the Midland GXT2000. Great info!

I operate a paintball course, and we use the GXT1000 on the course. It's heavily wooded in rolling terrain and about 3,000' distance between basecamp and the players. Basecamp is in a 24' enclosed trailer.

The question I have is: Is there a way to increase reception within that trailer? I've heard that antennae's or amplifiers can be used, but is that true? Will that help me escape the seemingly static-filled transmissions when used in the trailer?

Thanks a ton, love the site, and definitely love the discussions.

David
