    If the Genie is out of the bottle I say why not start fining the illegal users. Keep the license requirement. Never think of removing repeaters. Allow DIGITAL!!! Force narrowband. Most all radios can easily go from W to N / Wide to Narrow. Change the repeater to N and all radios to N. Easy as pie. If your radios are so old they can't do it then I'd say its time to upgrade anyways. My repeater is my repeater. Not a community free for all. You wanna a repeater go buy one. P25 will cut out eavesdropping. Allow AES encryption. Above all Fine Fine Fine Illegal users. Business stay away. You should be on Part 90.

  • The other interesting thing is that the U.S. may follow in the direction of Canada if these proposed changes become law: GMRS is restricted.
    best thing you handle with care, it will give best services as it have.
