Hey Rick, remember that I told you about the response e-mail I got from Midland mid 2016 when I wrote about the death of the GXT 5000 and also the MXT 100 limit of 5 watts? They said to wait for 2017 for some surprises! Guess these new Midland GMRS radios are what they were talking about!
