BlackBox two way radios are very powerful and are built for durability. This BlackBox UHF radio offers a full 4 watts of transmit power and support for 16 channels. Channel scan and monitor functions are also supported. These professional radios offer a great value, providing the same level of performance and reliability of radios selling for over twice the price!

The BlackBox radio supports 121 private line codes (38 CTCSS, 83 CDCSS). Other features include a battery saver function along with a low battery alert. A time-out timer is also provided to help prevent accidental transmissions.

Durability will not be a problem with a BlackBox radio. These radios are tough! They have an all-metal chassis and are built to military specifications. Even with this toughness, the radios are still amazingly small and lightweight. The BlackBox radio is only 4.25 (L) x 2.1 (W) x 1.5 (H) inches (108 x 54.2 x 37.4 mm) and weighs 9.6 ounces (273g) (including battery).

The BlackBox is a fully programmable radio, but comes pre-programmed with standard frequencies. If there are specific frequencies that you need supported, let us know! If you do not request specific frequencies, we will ship the radio with the default frequencies.

This BlackBox UHF radio operates on UHF frequencies. It can be programmed for frequencies in the range of 450 Mhz to 470 Mhz. Two way radios operating on UHF frequencies perform best inside steel or concrete structures.
