This is THE official manual of the ARRL which speaks for itself. The manual is straight-forward with plenty of illustrations, side notes and references. Great for self-study, with your Elmer or even a classroom setting. I spend an hour each night after work (2a.m.) studying and even though I'm a bit tired, I can still grasp what I'm reading. Nothing too complicated here.
