Besides two-way communications, in the U.S.A., the radio can provide quick access to receive all ten (10) NOAA (National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration) weather channels and alert you to weather emergencies with a tone on a weather channel you can select for your area. The Cobra Marine MR-F80B-D meets JIS7 standards, making its submersible for 30 minutes in one meter deep water.
The Cobra MR-F80B-D provides an updated Class-D Digital Selective Calling function, that improves your ability to send a distress signal at the touch of a button or exchange position information with other boats or stations. Its compact design and included flush and bracket mounting kits make it great for any installation.
The selectable 1 or 25 Watt output is perfect for short or long-range communication. The Cobra MR-F80B-D allows for TriWatch , monitoring of three channels: Channel 16,9 and one of your choosing.
