Icom IC-F21BR-01 Two Way Radio

The Icom IC-F21BR-01 FRS/GMRS radio is a heavy duty military spec design. It has 2 watts of power with 7 shared FRS/GMRS and 8 GMRS only frequencies. The IC-F21BR is designed to be a durable multi-purpose radio for both consumer and business use. Built to last, it is also surprisingly light and compact.

In addition to standard FRS/GMRS use, the IC-F21BR is also able to use BRS frequencies. This means with a business radio license you gain 21 additional channels to use. With 52 CTCSS privacy codes you can be sure you will have interference free operation. The IC-F21BR even has a CTCSS Find feature. The radio will scan for the CTCSS tone being used by other radios. You will be able to quickly determine the privacy code being used, so you can set your radio to work with them. This means no more matching codes out of the back pages of the user manual so you can communicate with another radio that has already been setup! The radio also comes with a Frequency Find feature to scan for the frequencies being used by other radios.

The IC-F21BR uses Ni-MH, Ni-Cd rechargeable or AA alkaline batteries (with optional AA adapter tray). The Icom IC-F21BR comes with a Ni-Cd battery pack, a BC 146 01 Direct Trickle Charger, removable antenna, and belt clip.
