The Icom IC-M412 Fixed Mount VHF Marine Two Way Radio is not just another marine radio, it's a vital addition to your vessel. The IC-M412 is a powerful 25 watt VHF radio that is submersible up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. The supplied hand microphone is also submersible. The IC-M412 also offers AquaQuake, a feature that uses a vibrating sound to help remove water from the speaker grill. These features alone make the IC-M412 a great choice for use in marine environments.

The IC-M412 is compact and simple to use. Its large, backlit LCD display is clear and easy to read. The buttons and display on the IC-M412 can be backlit as well, for low-light and night time operation.

The Icom IC-M412 features built-in Class D DSC functionality, Dualwatch and Tri-watch functions, and weather channel alerts. The IC-M412 has the ability to set your favorite channels for quick channel changes. The built-in DSC watch function monitors DSC channel 70 activity, even while you are receiving another channel!

The IC-M412 is also compatible with Icom’s MA-500TR Class B AIS Transponder, allowing you to make an individual DSC call without having to manually input a MMSI number.
