Lightweight, rugged, a 12 mile range, and loaded with features, the Motorola SX700R radios are designed for the extreme outdoors. The SX700 offers side grips to help you hold on, and includes a holster to provide you with quick access. With the iVOX hands free feature the SX700 acts as a speaker phone, allowing you to use your hands for other activities. Support for NOAA weather channels is also provided, allowing you to access continuous local and regional weather broadcasting.

The SX700R radios support all 22 FRS and GMRS channels with an amazing 121 interference eliminator (privacy) codes per channel, but the features don't stop there! This model also offers Motorola's VibraCall vibrating alert, which is perfect for those situations where silence is important. This model also offers a channel scan feature, your choice of 10 normal call tone alerts, and a backlit display.

This value pack includes two Motorola SX700 two way radios, one dual-pocket desktop charger, and NiMH rechargeable batteries for each radio, two holsters with belt clips, and two additional face plates.

Rating

I used these radios on test in an urban environment, and they gave good reception up to a mile away. Though the MR350'S range is stated to be 3 times more than this model, they both well in flat environments. The waste clip and plastic body is stronger than the MR350, SX700R has a dimmer screen. battery life is borderline too.
