Lately the Kenwood NEXEDGE radios are becoming very popular, especially for use as GMRS radios because they are fully type accepted. Well, we can get those for you. Kenwood will not allow us to put them on our website due to sales restrictions, but we can still order as many as you want.
In fact there are a lot of things we can get, that for one reason or another we are not able to list on our website. This is usually due to sales agreements with the manufacturer, or it is something that is just not in common demand. We pride ourselves on stocking just about everything we sell here at our shop, so if enough people show interest in something we will do what we can to carry it. I am looking at possibly getting a Kenwood NX 200 Or a Kenwood NX 300 portable radio. Please explain to me what would make me choose between the 200 or the 300? I am looking to go cheap as I can ( I realize no radio is cheap) without losing features that I would want need in the radio.
Also what is the starting price point for these radios?

I am a firefighter and a first responder. I am looking for a Kenwood NX-300 radio that I can program with my department. I also need to know how much it will cost me to get one. The town that I am working with is waiting for a grant and dont have the money to get me a radio right now. I can`t respond to calls if I dont know that they are happening! Please Help ASAP! Thanks.
Hi - we own 15 Kenwood Nexedge NX-300 radios. The area we work in is quite large and sometimes the signal is not strong enough. They all have the low profile aerials that come as standard. Do you think the larger whip style aerial would assist? And do you stock them?
