    In your discussions about outdoor usage of two-way radios you mentioned the importance of power and NOAA recevier capability and water-resistance, etc. What I did not hear was comments about FRS/GMRS vs. MURS units and why to choose one or the other. Yes, I know that they operate in UHF and VHF frequency ranges, which are both line of sight, and UHF goes through buildings better (which would not be of concern while camping) but how about some other considerations to help make a decision about which type to buy.
