Hello,
Recently did a frequency updated on my Wouxon KG-UV9P through the RT Programmer and also tried Chirp and no matter what I do - the radio is continuously transmitting on both dual bands. It wont let me reset either - I have tried to do a full factory reset on it, I hit menu, arrow to reset (61) then hit menu again and it does nothing - just goes back to frequency/channel mode while continuously transmitting. I'm completely baffled at what just happened. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Tim, when you mentioned a "frequency update", what specifically did that entail? We you simply programming new frequencies into the radio or was it an attempt to unlock additional frequencies outside the factory set parameters of the band? Was there any attempt to update firmware on the radio? Generally speaking, merely re-programming the radio should cause any issues. However, firmware modifications often cause issues and erratic behaviour with radios that are subjected to them.
I have an TH-9000D repeater, it shows all the characters in the receiver screen and it doesnt work. dont receive.
I have a baofeng kguv8d I'm able to transmit find on a frequency but I'm not able to hear a receiving transmission unless I hold down the monitor button I factory reset the radio and even cloned from another radio I cannot find any troubleshooting answers. Please help thank you
