If you are using a two way radio for your business, licensing a frequency with the FCC ensures that you are using a frequency that is reserved specifically for your business. This prevents interference that commonly occurs on the frequencies that many radios use as defaults. This interference is a nuisance that is distracting and reduces productivity. A business radio license (FCC Part 90) is good for 10 years. After 10 years you have the option to renew, or let the license expire (and stop using the frequencies).

Very Helpful
It was great that the company helped me in obtaining the license I needed. After reading through 30+ pages of government forms, I was lost, and the company gave me a 3-page form instead. And even though I couldn't fill it all out, they took care of the whole process for me. The downside is that I now have the license needed, but I don't know what that means as far as using the 2-way radios so that the use fits within the license parameters, so I need to do some more work yet.
I speak government regulation, but this was ridiculous
After scouring the FCC website and using their "friendly" application, I was fairly stumped. Perhaps it would have been easier if I had worked at the FCC for a few years. Getting in touch with the folks here, they emailed a 3-page application, helped with the more-technical aspects of the application, and I was able to submit the completed application in just a few hours. My time is valuable, and this was a no-brainer; the amount of time and energy that I would have spent filing my own application would have quickly amounted to more than the cost of this product. The folks here make it incredibly easy.

This is a great service, and Taylor knows the process inside and out. We started with a small communication program, just 15 ICOM 2200 series hand helds with 5 frequencies. A year later, we added 80 radios and 3 additional frequencies- and again, all the legwork was done for us
