YOu know I've tried quite a few mobile dual band antennas in the past. This Comet SBBB-5 is the BEST mobile antenna I've ever had. It's great on UHF and VHF and symplex is pretty good as well. I will stay with Comet from now on
After trying numerous mobile antennas I happened on this Comet SSB-5 because I wanted more gain on my radio.
This antenna surpasses what I wanted. UHF, VHF, simplex operations are great. Right out of the package SWR's were just fine. I learned you pay for what you get and with Comet looks like you get the best. 73's.
