The Galaxy DX 2457 AM/ SSB Two Way Citizen Band Base Station is designed for the serious CB operator who wants to take it to the max. The DX2547 covers all 40 CB frequencies with 4W of power on AM and 12W PEP on USB/LSB.
The DX 2457 has all of the features you expect from a CB desktop base station. The front panel has an easy to read signal/RF power/AM modulation level/SWR meter, large channel selector knob and heavy duty switches. The radio features 1.0 KHz receive clarifier, talkback control, volume control, squelch control, noise blanker and automatic noise limiter, mic gain control, RF gain control, PA on/off switch, tone control, roger beep switch, dimmer control and 8 indicator LEDs. The channel selector is easy to use and the LED channel indicator and frequency display are easy to read.

Probably the best radio on the market (base) for the
average CB operator. Good transmit and receive. The
only reason that I don't give it five stars is because the control knobs are hard to see and the price seems to high for it. Should be around $250.

Great base station radio
Galaxy DX 2547 gave it four stars would given a five stars, but when unit was received some of the digital frequency counter LED’s not illuminating- reach out to a representative at buytwowayradio.com and they are working on a RGA to return and replace the unit at no cost- just bought this unit 2 weeks ago- good customer service and stands by their products sold.
