The TC-518 has 16 frequency channels and 4 watts of power. It support UHF business frequencies with 39 CTCSS and 106 CDCSS codes to prevent unwanted conversations on your frequency. The TC-518 also delivers quality audio and up to 18 hours of battery life to maximize your uptime and increase productivity.
The TC-518 features channel scan, priority channel scan, Voice-operated Transmit (VOX),compander, battery save feature, timeout timer, talk back, scrambler, and busy channel lockout. It's PC programmable with an optional programming cable and software for maximum versatility.

Great purchase
After using marine handheld radios on our cruise ship for 8 years, we decided to change over to two-way radios that offered better clarity. The staff was most helpful in deciding between competing brands. We found the Hyteria to best meet our needs. The sound quality was far better on the Hyteria. It would be nice if they came waterproof and floatable as well.
