Excellent buy
Use weekly in a production environment, as Video director for 3 (occasionally more) cameras in a large church production environment, microphone cuts through all of the background noise to deliver camera calls and cues through a 94 decibel music and worship experience. As I work in a separate "isolated" room (we have our own music mix piped in for myself and 3 computer operators) I usually just use it open as a speaker and microphone, the times that I have plugged into the 3.5mm jack have worked flawlessly with no problems. Though this unit was a bit more than I wanted to pay originally, I am very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone. I would note that the clip on this unit is designed to go over the shoulder, (meaning the radio is hooked to your back and this goes up and over your shoulder to clip to your collar (sadly it took me a week to realize this).
