The flashlight on the ER300 is also an emergency beacon that signals SOS in Morse Code. The flashlight button can also trigger the built-in ultrasonic dog whistle, to help rescue animals find you quickly in a search and rescue situation! The ER300 also features 12/24 hour digital clock and a backlit LCD display to keep you informed of the time.
Midland ER300 operates a 2000 mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery that can be charged three ways. Charge it through the built-in USB port, the built-in dynamo hand crank or the solar panel that is also built right in! It also operates on six (6) standard AA alkaline batteries, giving you another power option in case of an emergency.
In addition to the all of these features, the Midland ER300 also includes a USB output port, so you can charge a cell phone, tablet or other electronic device and keep them going during a power outage or other emergency.
