The Midland GXT-400-VP1 is the same radio as the very popular Midland GXT-400, except that it is a value pack and along with the two GXT-400 radios it also includes two Midland AVP-1 headsets!
The Midland GXT-400 two way radio has an amazing 4 full watts of transmit power and a maximum range of 10 miles! The GXT-400 is also a weather radio, allowing you to tune in to local NOAA weather channels. A vibrate alert is also featured, along with built in support for hands-free (VOX) operation. The Midland GXT-400 is water resistant, offers a channel scan feature, allows you to select from high or low power modes, and offers an industry first 3 year warranty.
The Midland GXT-400 two way radio supports all 22 FRS and GMRS channels with 38 privacy codes per channel. Each Midland GXT-400 two way radio requires 4 AA batteries, which are not included.
