The Midland GXT-500 boasts an amazing 5 watts of power, allowing for a range of up to 14 miles. The GXT-500 is also a weather radio, supporting the NOAA weather channels. Hands-free operation is also supported by the GXT-500! Other features include a vibrating alert, water resistance, selectable high, medium and low power modes, and channel scan. A 3 year warranty is also provided by the manufacturer on this model.

The Midland GXT-500 two way radio supports all 22 FRS and GMRS channels with 38 privacy codes per channel. Each Midland GXT-500 two way radio requires 4 AA batteries, which are not included.
