The Midland LXT490 supports a total of 36 channels - 22 standard FRS/GMRS channels and 14 extra channels. The LXT490 has channel scan, NOAA weather alerts, uses regular alkaline batteries or rechargeable battery packs, call alerts, and a three year warranty.
The LXT490VP3 radio pack comes with two Midland LXT490VP3 radios, belt clips, desktop charger, AC wall adapter and rechargeable batteries.

We bought this to take camping, but our kids love to use it around the neighborhood too. It has very clear audio and is really easy to use.

Poor quality..worked barely 1 month
I would also recommend another model, cause the clip doesn't work well when you are constantly removing it and putting it back on.
Radios
Use for soccer officiating. Great for crew communication. Have to change channels frequently to find clear channel. Overall, they are adequate for what I need.
