The Midland T51VP3 is an X-Talker Series two way radio with 22 FRS channels, NOAA weather radio, weather alert, 38 privacy codes, and a maximum range of up to 28 miles in optimal conditions (typically less than .5 mile in urban conditions). It is compatible with other FRS and GMRS radios for reliable two way communications.
The T51 features e-Vox voice activation, call alert, monitor mode, silent operation, and keypad lock. It operates on rechargeable battery packs (included) or 3 “AAA” alkaline batteries (not included), providing dual power options as you need. It has a built-in micro USB port for charging directly to the radio with an optional USB wall charger (sold separately).
