I bought these radios for use in an old concrete and cinder-block church built in the 50's. A rather large campus taking up most of a city block, this church has corridors, basements, and other obstructions that make radios a bit of a challenge. These work in every area and transmit and receive from every nook and cranny imaginable. They even work wonders outside the building transmitting inside. I was looking for an affordable option that will still function well and these fit the bill. The 6-spot charging station is a little bulky, but it works better than most I've seen. The spot for charging additional batteries is a plus. It still ships with the individual chargers too, so there are backups. The customer service from Midland was excellent too. I had my rebate radios delivered within a week or so.
