Yuck review by This thing is Trouble on 5/25/2021This headset has been trouble from the beginning. For starters it has to be wired into the exisiting cord into your CB. NOt only that but the headset adds two extra cords to your set up in your vehicle, one for the press to talk into the CB button, and one that plugs into a 1/2 amp fuse that has to be wired in and hooked into the CB. What a pain. First we lost the tiny fuse and I couldn't find another one at an auto parts store, specialty item. Then the plastic button that you have to press to talk into the CB is a piece of junk that you are supposed to press, just like you press a mic button the old school way, except this button is cheap plastic trash that your are supposed to velcro to your gear shift. Ugh. This product needs to actually be wireless to be worth anything. Then Buy Two Way Radios told me they'd charge a 20% restocking fee if I wanted to send the junk back..... not impressed. I should have read the other reviews first. Bad product.
