The Wouxun CCH-004 allows you to charge the battery pack of your Wouxun radio with or without the radio. Front slot can also be used to charge larger size, high capacity 2600mAh battery without radio attached.

2600mah battery does not fit in second slot, can only charge while in radio in front slot.

Works great it charges bot a radio and battery. The only problem is the radio can be hard to get into the charging slot.
Check Model... KG-UV8D does not fit. review by tcooper on 10/21/2014

Got this as an extra charger for my UV8D .... the radio with the 2600mah battery fits - kinda-sort of. It's charging... the UV8D is just a little narrower. Too much trouble to send back and exchange, so don't make my mistake. (yes, I'm admitting I messed up...)
