The XLT Communications TM300 throat microphone with large PTT switch is a tough, heavy duty solution for those needing to communication in a high noise environment. The TM300 is adjustable, allowing it to fit various neck sizes. It is a single wire throat mic, with a large in-line push-to-talk (PTT) button with lapel clip. A reversible surveillance style earpiece with mushroom tipped connector will work in either ear.

Flexible throat microphone wraps around neck and transmits from vibrations in the throat. Background noise is not transmitted.

throat mic works good and is comfortable if adjusted right, earphone has good sound at high speed on motorcycle. the oversized ptt button is a real asset as you don't have to fumble looking for it, it's so big your hand just finds it right away...

Didn't fit my radios. The contact from he company said he had plugged the microphone into the same kind of radios, and the pin worked fine. I compared the pins from the original microphones and the throat mic pin is too long and too skinny. My TAX 300 radios use an M8 connection. Had to send these back and get two of the secret service style mic.

Overall I really enjoy this throat mic. The ptt is awesome and the audio is great. You do have to make sure you speak clearly. Mumbling is worse through the mic. I had some discomfort after extended wear, but not too bad. Otherwise, great product.
