Great antenna
I was looking for a GMRS mobile antenna. The specs are great.It works very well. I am very happy with it.
Works great!
High quality antenna. It works great in my medium sized SUV. Cable length was more than adequate to reach the front seat area. I am very happy with the antenna as well as Buy Two Way Radios as a whole.
Works well for my purpose
I installed this antenna on my balcony using a Melowave NMO mag mount (from BTWR, highly recommended), which is attached to the metal railing of the balcony. The purpose was to reduce the profile relative to a previously installed 5/8 over 5/8 GMRS antenna (also from BTWR), which works great (flat 1.01:1 SWR across GMRS), but is "too large" for someone's liking.
Out of the box, this shorter Tram antenna had an SWR of about 1.05:1 on 462 MHz and about 2:1 on 467 MHz (in my particular install conditions; others may vary). I might consider trimming this antenna a little bit in the future, but it already works well for a small GMRS repeater I own, because SWR is more important for TX (462 MHz) than for RX (467 MHz). So I am already happy with this antenna.

Great antenna
This antenna is well made and has performed perfectly after Trimming for intended frequency. Wish the Trim chart was included with the antenna. Had to locate it online.
Quality Antenna
Other than this antenna not coming with a cut chart and the website printed on the packaging being a parked domain at GoDaddy, this was a good purchase. I found a (unofficial) cut chart online and proceeded with very small cuts. After the cuts, my SWR meter is showing 1.01 on the GMRS repeater frequencies and 1.25 on GMRS channel 22. I have been able to hit repeaters with this antenna as well as I can with my 32" antenna. One repeater is almost 23 miles away. I'm very pleased with this purchase. Fits in my garage where the 32" antenna would not.
Low SWR
Trimmed the antenna, placed the antenna on a mag mount in the center of my 2015 Tacoma, and got a 1.01 SWR on channels 1-7, 1.4 on channels 15-22, and 1.0 on repeater channels 23-30.
