Good antenna, especially for the $$
Review by JMac
Good antenna on 2m and okay on 440 depending on the frequency. We are using this antenna as a temporary solution on our VHF & UHF repeaters until we can afford quality 4-bay dipole antennas. We have them stood out from the tower 4.5 feet plus supported at middle of the antenna and near the top because of the thin wall fiberglass construction. It has already withstood 60 mph winds from a thunderstorm - it just stood right in place didn't move an inch. So far, so good. SWR 1.4:1 on 2m and 1.7:1 on 440, but a scan of the antenna shows SWRs on 2m & 440 repeater bands as low at 1.2:1 and 1.4:1 respectively.
