The Tram 1486 is a high performance UHF fiberglass Base Antenna with a 200 watt power rating. This single section antenna is 5'3" tall and is rated for 135mph maximum winds.

The Tram 1486 is intended to be custom tuned to a specific frequency. A cutting chart is included to enable you to more easily do this yourself. We also offer a custom tuning service, where we will tune the antenna for your frequency or frequency range. If you select our tuning service, please specify your frequency in the Comments field during checkout. Please note, this product is not refundable once it has been tuned.

Great antenna, I can reach a repeater 35 miles away with the Wouxun KG- 935G Plus with 5.5 watts. Now have the Wouxun KG-XS20G Plus hooked to it and it’s great. Looking forward to installing the Wouxun KG-1000G Plus to it. Telling all my friends about this antenna and good it is. Just remember to have Buy Two Way Radios cut it for you, it is spot on

Trying to help a family get connected in an emergency we were only getting spotty, mostly unreadable transmissions. The Tram 1846 antenna saved the day. Once we got it tuned, which took very little time by using the Surecom SW-102 SWR/Power Meter, sold on this site, we hit 17-miles and it sounded like we were standing next to each other. Love the product. Love the customer service and tech support.

Very pleased with this antenna, I got this for the GMRS bands and following the cut chart it was got a SWR of 1.2 by tuning it for 458MHz and working up to 460MHz. Definitely a lot easier to do precisely with something that measures in millimeters, used a tape measure to get the whole inches and calipers to get that that last faction of an inch.
