It operates on 2 meter, 1.25 meter and 70cm amateur radio frequencies at up to 5 watts of power for maximum reach out in the field. The TH-350 is also an excellent choice for ham radio operators who need the primary features and versatility of the popular Baofeng UV-5R but with a more mature look, professional feel and greater durability.

The TH-350 features 128 programmable channels, standard and non-standard CTCSS/DCS and 1750 Hz call tone. Other features include scan mode, selectable power modes, reverse frequency, talkaround, busy channel lockout, Channel Name Edit and Display Mode, compander, and built-in VOX (Voice Operated Transmit) for hands-free operation.

The display is also something special. The TH-350 is equipped with a clear, crisp dot matrix LCD screen that displays all three bands at once. The display is easy to read with icons that are easy to identify.

Really haven't had the time to do much with this radio yet , but I confirmed it works testing it against my base radio and it sounds really good! feels like it has a good quality build. Will see how it works and holds up in real life use. 73's.

I am very happy with the radio. It has good battery life and has a solid feel, unlike the btech tri-band ht. Great value for the money.

q3000210 Triband rubber duck antenna on a repeater in Raleigh, NC , the repeater is I believe at abt 1200 ft and is 40 some miles from me, I had some noise on my signal but with 5 watts and a rubber duck antenna you really expect some noise on the signal, thats a long haul, really love the radio and the batteries last a long time. hope BUY TWO RADIOS will get some extra batteries for the little radio. Tnx to BUY TWO RADIOS for the special, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL !!

  4. Adds a little more convenience review by Mike R on 8/20/2022

It's easier to shift bands to talk. I don't have the issue others do where with ABR on they can accidentally key up and talk on a different frequency (the last place the ABR stopped on with activity), as my ABR doesn't seem to work. Was able to get the Asian software to work after finding the only video on YT with instructions on how to get it into English.

Purchased primarily for 220 mhz, but will make an excellent back up for 2m and 70 cm. Had a question which I couldn't find the answer too, contacted tech support they had the answer in short order.

After a hiccup with my first radio, the folks at BuyTwoWay were more than responsive, pleasant, and helpful. A short phone call was all it took. The replacement radio arrived almost immediately. BuyTwoWay may be my next stop for my GMR radio. Great friendly service. Not a lot of that going on nowadays.

  8. Great for HAM, not for emergency freq. review by CD3FKA on 7/28/2021
    Rating

I had a lot of troubles trying to program this radio. But it finally work great. It's a very light HT, nice sound and a very pleasant roger tone, unlike other brands. Enough battery life for my personal use.
    TIPS:
-Don't try to program it outside the advertised freq. range, it will not TX at all.
-Use the latest CPS on TYT website.
    -Be patient.

  9. Solid radio....great value review by Ham Radio User on 7/6/2021

Well, for the price, this is a nice trip-band radio! Positives: Price. Great volume and tune knob, "click"PTT button, full five watts on 220Mhz (big name competitor is only 1.5 their try band), keypad has solid feel. Able to monitor 3 channels. Negatives: Needs to come with one antenna, not two, only has ham bands so not able to use it to listen to trains, fire etc, belt clip (a good one) is on the battery not the radio.

  10. Great radio review by K4RRT on 5/15/2021

Great radio for the price. Not complicated and easy to program from the keypad.

  11. Very nice unit review by Efrog1074 on 1/22/2021

This is my first handheld and I'm pretty happy with it. The unit is solid and well built. Operation is pretty straight forward if you don't try using the manual. There are plenty of YouTube videos that you can check out. I like the fact that you can program the unit from the unit. it's fairly straightforward once you see someone walk through the process. The CPS program provided on the mini-CD, at least this time they didn't bother with documentation, is easy to use and worked out of the box with the recommended cable.
Unit comes with 2 antennas, one for 220 and the other for 160 and 440. They work well, but I have a triband coming.
All in all a good purchase.
