TYT High Capacity 3200mAh Battery Upgrade Kit For TH-UV88 (Battery+Charger)

This battery is more than double the capacity of the stock battery. Haven't run a longevity test yet. Does make the TYT UV 88 a little more bulky, but not bad.

Good price for a charger, works as intended.

I can't find any Shop in Europe with this Battery in stock. So i ordered at buytwowayradios. It came without beltclip amd screws. So, i ordered one at ebay. The Battery lasts for a Week and i am happy with it.

I have two TYT TH-UV88 radios. I bought a 3200mAh battery on Ebay for $14.95. So when I wanted another I looked on buytwowayradios and ordered one and I paid $19.94. To my surprise when I opened it I couldn't find the belt clip and screws. Then I looked at the website and saw that if you want a belt clip it's another $3.99 because it doesn't come with the battery like my other one did. So it was my mistake.

Larger battery is great. I tried to leave it on as long as possible to see how long it lasts. I got bored after four or five days....it still had one bar left. The description says you need the new battery charger to fit the larger battery but that is not the case. I would have given it five stars if I didn’t buy a new charger that I didn’t need.

I only got the extra battery as I already had the charger and the radio is usually on me. This way I can have one battery charging while carrying the radio. I have the radio on all the time. I have a few shorter conversations a day and the rest is monitoring. I change out the battery every 24-30 hours. Sometimes a little longer.
