The TYT TYT-CHG-UV88-HC is a high capacity charger for use with the TYT-BATT-UV88-HC 3200mAh battery pack for the TYT TH-UV88 Dual Band Amateur Two Way Radio.
NOTE: The TYT-CHG-UV88-HC high capacity charger works only with the TYT-BATT-UV88-HC high capacity battery (sold separately). This special charger base is not compatible with the standard TH-UV88 battery.

High Capacity Battery Charger
Great charger for the 3200mAh battery. Like the fact that I can charge the battery out of the radio. That way I can always have a charged battery ready to go.
These work with the Raddiodity GM-30
I actually bought these as a desk charger for the Raddiodity GM-30 since Raddiodity does not sell a cradle charger specifically for the GM-30. I'd like to report these tyt chargers work perfectly as a cradle charger for the GM-30 with it's standard battery..

Charged new batteries in a few hours (didn't track the time). No problems to note so far. I haven't need to charge the batteries again yet. It has a removable plug-in cable with a wall wart, which is fine; maybe better than the regular charger (which is hard wired and no wall wart).
