Aniti virus software does not like the program. After turning virus protection off it works well. No harm to the computer.
Buy the Package: radio, software, and cable
Used for 70cm Amateur Radio. Software works with Win 8 and 10, with no problems, easy to use. If you need extra info, look at YouTube Video on programming the MD380 using software.

This is the easiest software I have ever used to program any of my radios. Easy menu for Digital or Analog.

I have had no problems with software, however some of my friends had an issue with the driver.
Easy way to program the MD-380
I downloaded a code plug from the DMR-MARC website, you can also get one from a friend with the same radio (NOT A MOTO!). The MD-380 CAN NOT be programmed from the front panel, but the software is pretty intuitive.
