The Bearcat BC125AT covers 40,000 frequencies, including 25-54, 108-174, 225-380 and 400-512 MHz frequencies so you can hear civilian and military bands such as police, ambulance, fire, weather, marine, aircraft, railroad, civil air, CB, FRS/GRMS/MURS and racing. Close Call RF Capture Technology alerts you whenever someone keys up within range and tunes into the transmission automatically. Alpha Tagging lets you assign a name to channels so you can keep track of who you are listening to.
The BC125AT features 10 channel storage banks, CTCSS and DCS squelch modes, Direct Access, Priority Scan with Do Not Disturb and Priority Plus Scan. It also features a backlit display for easy operation during night time activities.
Powering and Programming the BC125AT is not a problem. The scanner supports three power options - rechargeable NiMH batteries, disposable AA alkaline batteries and direct charging via USB. The USB interface also connects the scanner to your computer for PC programming with free software that is readily available online.
