The Uniden BC95XLT features Uniden's Close Call™ RF Capture Technology to lock onto radio transmissions nearby so you can catch all the action, even if you haven't programmed any frequencies into the your scanner! 10 Programmable search ranges helps you find unlisted frequencies and Service Search keeps you informed on polices, weather, fire marine, aircraft and ham radio frequencies.

The BC95XLT was made to scan. Priority scan lets you scan only the channels you want to hear and Channel Delay helps prevent you from missing the other side during two-way conversations. Scan up to 50 channels per second and search up to 60/steps per second. Turbo Search takes search speed up to 180 steps per second. When it comes to active frequencies, the BC95XLT can find them fast.

The BC95XLT has a flexible antenna with a BNC connector that is also removable. You easily can connect an external antenna if you prefer. It also has a backlit display so you can easily see it during night time events. It operates on either 2 AA alkaline batteries or rechargeable batteries that can be charged while in the scanner. (Alkaline and rechargeable batteries not included).
