The Uniden GMR2240-2CK is a quality GMRS two way radio at a low cost, advertising a range of up to 22 miles in optimal conditions (typically less than 1.5 miles in urban conditions). The GMR2240 is JIS1 weather resistant, which means it can be used in humid environments!
The Uniden GMR-2240-2CK supports 7 FRS and 15 GMRS channels with 121 privacy codes. It also supports NOAA weather channels, meaning you can be alerted if severe weather is entering your area. The GMR2240 also features a backlit LCD display, 5 call tones, channel scan feature, and headset jack.
The GMR-2240 also includes a 9V DC jack, so you can also charge it directly in your vehicle with an optional 9V DC vehicle adapter (model DC-1002, sold separately).
This value pack includes two Uniden GMR2240-2CK two way radios, two belt clips, a dual pocket desktop charger, 2 NiMH rechargeable battery packs, an AC adapter and owner's manual.
