The Vertex VX-2200-G7 is a full-featured 45 Watt FM transceiver designed for flexible mobile and base station business communications in the VHF Land Mobile bands. The VX-2200-G7 transceiver is designed for reliable business communications in a wide variety of applications with a wide range of operating capability provided by their leading-edge design.
The 128-channel memories can each be programmed with a 8-character channel name. Important channel frequency data is stored in EEPROM and flash memory on the CPU, and can be easily programmable by us. Place your specific frequencies or functions request in the Comments field and we will program your radio prior to shipment. The VX-2200-G7 comes equipped with a 8 character alpha-numeric LCD and 6 function keys that can be customized via programming to meet your communications/network requirements.
A full line of accessories are available for Vertex radios, including: microphones, speakers, and optional signal boards.
The VX-2200-G7 is equipped with an option port that expands the versatility of the radio. Encryption functions and DTMF paging are only accessible through the installation of optional boards. For your convenience, expansion boards can be purchased through us.
The VX-2200-G7 UHF radio operates on UHF frequencies. It can be programmed for frequencies in the range of 450 Mhz to 512 Mhz.
