Capable yet compact, the VX-P820 is the smallest submersible P25 portable radio from Vertex Standard out there, yet it has advanced features not found on other Project 25 radios in its size.

The VX P820 Series is available in both VHF and UHF models with robust features such as a 2-tone and 5-tone codes, multiple scan options, a multi-color LED, radio-to-radio cloning, and ARTS™ - The Auto Range Transpond System from Vertex Standard. That's just a start.

The VX-P821 has 32 channels, one group and 3 programmable keys. The VX-P824 has 512 channels with 32 groups, an LCD display, and 7 programmable keys. The VX-P829 delivers it all with a full keypad and a 9 programmable keys. Three versions with one standard for excellence in P25 radio communications - Vertex Standard.

It may be small, but it's tough. The VX-P820 radios meet IP57 standards for dust and water resistance and are submersible in 3 feet of water for up to 30 minutes. Intrinsically Safe versions of these radios are also available that are SGS certified and meet Mil-STD-810-C, D, E, F and G.
