The XLT SE440 heavy duty two wire surveillance earpiece is a great option when discrete communications are required. The SE440 features a clear acoustic tube and mushroom tipped surveillance earpiece for candid conversations. A Push-to-talk (PTT) button / microphone is on a separate wire that can be clipped to your lapel (clip included), hidden inside a pocket, or routed down a sleeve.

It's OK - the sound quality could be better review by AmateurRyan on 9/27/2016It functioned fine - the PTT switch worked and it plugged into my Baofeng just fine. Transmit sound quality was decent, but receive sound quality lost all high frequencies. It was much worse quality than the built-in speaker of the Baofeng. The earpiece blocks all other sounds, so you're effectively deaf in that ear to anything other than radio traffic. Professional ear pieces don't have these sound quality or obstruction issues, but then this is pretty inexpensive. You'll need to keep a little tension on the clear tube coil so that it stays wrapped around your ear. This may mold into your ear shape over time.
