The MT Series is weatherproofed with an IP-54 rating from dust and wet weather, whether rain and snow. NOAA weather channels and weather alerts keep you prepared for emergencies such as severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, flash floods, winter storms, emergency evacuations and Amber Alerts. Its emergency alert feature and built-in LED flashlight provide added peace of mind. Whether you're out hunting, camping, fishing or just out and about, the MT350R is a great tool for emergency communications.
The Talkabout MT350R two way radio also offers great power, providing up to 35 miles of range in ideal conditions (typically up to 2 miles in urban conditions). With 22 channels and 121 privacy codes, you will have the flexibility you need for instant radio communication. Talkabout Clear uses a Class D amplifier which reduces distortion at high volume to enhance sound quality. Add the Quiet Talk filter, Push-To-Talk Power Boost, hands-free iVox functionality, and Motorola's VibraCall® vibrating alert and you have a powerful two way radio that's ready to go where your outdoor adventure takes you.
The MT350R is easy to charge in several ways. The included mini-USB AC wall charger has dual connectors to charge a pair of radios simultaneously. This charger is also energy efficient and consumes only one half watt of power when idle. The mini-USB charging port also allows you to charge the radio with an optional mini-USB car charger or directly from your PC when no other power source is available. As with other Talkabout radios, it can be dropped right into an optional desktop charger (sold separately). It also operates using 3 standard AA alkaline batteries when needed.
