The Kenwood TK-2402-V16P is a 16 channel, 5 watt business two way radio with a lithium battery that provides up to 18 hours of battery life (14 hours without the battery-saver feature). This powerful radio from Kenwood covers up to 370,000 square feet, 33 floors, or up to 7 miles of range. The TK2402V16P can be programmed to VHF frequencies, works with a repeater, and supports 207 Quiet Talk codes (39 QT and 168 DQT codes). Features include busy channel lockout, voice scrambling and hands-free (VOX) support (with accessories).
The Kenwood TK-D240V operates on 136-174 MHz frequencies with up to 5 watt radio for general business use. It has 32 channels, and 2 zones with 16 channels per zone. It has programmable QT and DQT tones in analog mode, scanning functions, and read/write password protection. It uses Two-Slot TDMA and DMR Tier II in digital mode, for compatibility with other DMR business radios.
