The Midland LXT-440-VP3 two way radio provides a maximum range of up to 20 miles in optimal conditions (typically less than 1.5 miles in urban conditions)! This radio supports all 22 FRS and GMRS channels and provides 121 privacy codes per channel.

The LXT-440 is also a weather radio, allowing you to tune in to local NOAA weather channels. The LXT-440 can even provide weather alerts when severe weather is entering your area. The LXT440VP3 supports hands-free (VOX) operation (with 3 sensitivity levels). Other features include channel scan, water resistance, selectable high and low power modes, silent operation, and an industry first 3 year warranty.
