The Baofeng UV-3R is a very economical Dual Band UHF/VHF Amateur Radio that's also ultra compact! With 99 channels and up to 10 hours of battery life, the UV-3R is an obvious choice for ham radio operators who need an extremely light and compact radio for mobility at an extremely low cost.
The UV-3R features 50 CTCSS and 104 DCS codes, wide and narrow bandwidth selection, priority channel scanning and dual watch. Other features include UHF/VHF Dual Standby, Dual display switch, DTMF code, a built-in FM radio and a built-in flashlight. The UV-3R also features built-in VOX (Voice Operated Transmit) for hands-free operation.
The Baofeng UV 3R has up to 2W of power and is powered by 1500mAh Li-Ion battery pack for up to 10 hours (approx.) of operation. A battery save feature helps conserve power until it is needed.
The Baofeng UV-3R comes with rechargeable Li-Ion battery pack, belt clip, removable antenna, C-ring earpiece with in-line PTT microphone, AC to USB adapter, USB power cable, drop-in charger, wrist strap and an owner's manual.
