Outstanding performance
Construction is great, base is rugged stiff, whip is stainless steel rod, but flexible enough to withstand almost 90° bends. The 5" magnet mount MNO is very strong, sits tight and firm.
I was looking for something like this all around the web too no luck, and founded it here, though had to dig it out from the rest.
It was a plug an play, no adjustment needed, awesome reception instantly, it was like I had a new pair of ears that could listen to my friends Baofeng UV-5R (Mobile antena) with an S5-S6 QSO from nearly 5 miles with the worse condition terrain you could imagine.
Should I recommend this product, and for the price that it was purchased for?

great talking antenna
I have a straight 5/8 wave antenna and this 5/8 over 5/8 talks noticeable better ... I like how short the 5/8 one is but this browning hears and talks better but is almost double the length ... already have recommended it to friends and family.
