The batteries after charging for twelve hours (the suggested charging time) last for about 20-60 min! The first three weeks the batteries lasted significantly longer.

I had a couple of radios that needed charging bases and this handled them both a reasonable price. Plus the delivery was quick!

I had trouble with the new replacement design of "thin" AC adapters in they would not always work or with some of our churches 13 radios and 8 chargers. In talking with Midland, they sent me the Old style "fat" plugs to replace the new ones, and they worked properly. Midland is looking into their new designed plugs. Midland is always good to deal with. Midland will have problems with their new plugs until the design or defective lot is taken care of. The older-type "Fat" plugs are the ones to ask for until the correction is made.

Works great

Using these walkie talkies a wireless intercom between two different buildings. How dumb is it for them to provide only 1 charging station? Charging both Walkie talkies in the same charging station is not helpful. So I had to buy another charging station seperately for the 2nd location. Excellent Walkie talkies other than that. The 9 levels of VOX allows me to use it like a long range baby monitor for my ageing mother. I can also tell her it is dinner time without having to walk to her house. With her dementia, I can not teach her how to press the simple "push to talk" button because she forgets as soon as I tell her. But when she hears my voice she can answer back due to the awesome VOX feature.

Charges two radios quickly.

Buytwowayradios are great to deal with. I live in Australia and wished to purchase another 'Charger' for our son's two way radios.
