You might think that having the Push To Talk button on the front of the radio is kind of strange. I did too. But then I found that young children have better control over the button with their thumb. If you've ever spoken with young kids on a walkie talkie you know what I'm talking about. But with these radios, kids have better control. They don't accidentally key the radio while holding it, or release the PTT too soon. This is an awesome discovery for youth groups! Also, the radios are solidly built and are meant to take lots of abuse. Buy a set. They're proven tough, but simple to operate for kids (and adults).
