The Midland T51X3VP3 is an X-Talker Series two way radio with 22 FRS channels, NOAA weather radio, weather alert, 38 privacy codes, and a maximum range of up to 28 miles in optimal conditions (typically less than .5 mile in urban conditions). It is compatible with other FRS and GMRS radios for reliable two way communications.
The T51 features e-Vox voice activation, call alert, monitor mode, silent operation, and keypad lock. It operates on rechargeable battery packs (included) or 3 “AAA” alkaline batteries (not included), providing dual power options as you need. It has a built-in micro USB port for charging directly to the radio with an optional USB wall charger (sold separately).

good but...battery
Love the two way radios, especially when we inadvertently are patched in the same frequency as someone else in area. But it seems like 2 of the three hand sets go dead much quicker than the other one. We charged all 3 the day we got them. They all said full and two die halfway through the day. We are not using them very much but just being powered on, two run dead quicker. Not a huge deal but an inconvenience for sure. If wee needed them to be solid the entire work day we would be looking for something else. For the most part though, we are content with our purchase.
