Used as a wide band antenna for Scanner
I use this antenna for receiving only on a Uniden BCD436 handheld scanner. It is about an inch longer but works as well or better than the stock antenna on the various bands that I scan. My experience when comparing this antenna to various others was that it worked the best and was not the longest.
Lightweight & Flexible
If you're looking for an antenna that's better than a ducky, but not obtrusive this is a good choice. It is flexible and light, almost weightless. It's going to be the standard antenna for my 2m/440 handheld.
Excellent Customer Service
Haven't really played with the antenna much yet, but the customer service I received after getting the wrong antenna in the mail was excellent. After calling they had me send a picture to verify it was the wrong item and they immediately sent me a replacement telling me to keep the other one. Would order from here again.
