The President RANDY II FCC Handheld CB radio adds FM excitement to CB! The Randy II FCC gives you the maximum operating power, features and flexibility you won't get from the typical portable handheld AM CB transceiver, plus the added functionality of Frequency Modulation (FM) mode, and all of it at a reasonable price.
The RANDY II FCC transmits on all 40 CB channels on AM and FM at 4 watts of RF power. It has 7 NOAA weather channels, weather alerts, and a large, multifunction LCD display with 7 backlight colors. It features dual watch, noise gate, compander, VOX, noise blanker and built-in ANL (Automatic Noise Limiter) filter. It includes an S-meter, an F function key, manual squelch and ASC. It is also EMG 1&2 programmable.
What makes the RANDY II unique is the battery. Most handheld CB radios use AA batteries or rechargeable NiMH batteries. The RANDY II FCC is designed with a Lithium-ion rechargeable battery! This 1800mAh battery pack provides ample power for many hours of operation on a full charge. The RANDY II also includes Eco Mode to extend the battery life further for maximum uptime.

First one DOA, second one is OK
The first radio I received was DOA. I had to send it back on my dime. I was informed that the speaker was bad, and they would replace the radio. So far, the replacement radio works fine.
